Alone on my Birthday

Alone on my Birthday

February 15, 2015 · My Diary

Later this week I will turn 23. Now this isn’t going to be a blog post about how old I feel and that I haven’t achieved anything or how young I feel and that I’m really insecure and have no idea what I’m doing in my life. No, this is a blog post about how my whole family has abandoned me on my birthday. Disclaimer: Family, I’m not really mad at you. I love you all lots and lots. HopeView Post

Tina Fey, Bossypants – Review

Yes, I know that this book was published in 2011 and that I’m late to the party but excuse me whilst I make 2015 my year of the inspirational and powerful women. I’m serious, did you see what I got for Christmas? There's definitely a theme to my Christmas presents this year… 🎄💃🍷💁 A post shared by Hannah Witton (@hannahwitton) on Dec 25, 2014 at 6:42am PST   Before I read Bossypants a friend of mine warned me. Speaking at TEDxClapham

Speaking at TEDxClapham

January 18, 2015 · Career

Yesterday (Saturday 17th January 2015), I spoke at TEDxClapham. I am a huge fan of TED talks, they’ve taught me a lot over the last few years and so when Alex Merry asked me to speak at TEDxClapham I jumped at the opportunity! To all my friends and family, I’m sorry. It’s over now. I’m not stressed anymore.   I was so nervous beforehand and I still haven’t decided if I want to watch the video of my talk whenView Post

Amy Poehler, Yes Please – Review

Amy Poehler, Yes Please – Review

January 4, 2015 · Reviews

I haven’t written a book review since school. How do these things work? Okay, I love Amy Poehler. I am a huge fan of Parks and Recreation (I watched all 6 seasons in one go and I’m so excited to watch the final season in real time!) Leslie Knope is my hero, I seriously couldn’t ask for female character in a sitcom that makes me more happy and excited about life than Leslie Knope. To be honest, I haven’t seen her doView Post

My 2014

My 2014

December 30, 2014 · My Diary

Waaaaaasssuuup!!? That’s how to start a blog. Hello my lovelies! Welcome, welcome, take a seat. There’s tea and biscuits at the back (actually there’s not but you’re more than welcome to drink tea and eat biscuits whilst you read this). It’s the end of 2014 which means just two more years until my best friend who is born on 29th February can celebrate her real birthday again. It’s very strange having a friend who’s only 6 years old. I digress. I uploaded aView Post

Hi! I’m Hannah, I’m a northerner living in London and I’ve been making online content for over 10 years. I’m known for having open and taboo busting conversations about sex and relationships, and I also love to nerd out about books, slow fashion, organisation and productivity.

Last week I met the one and only Emily Nagoski, an Last week I met the one and only Emily Nagoski, and her twin Amelia! They were in London giving a talk about their book Burnout and unlocking the stress cycle (I currently don’t have access to good sleep so I’ll have to pick laughing and crying instead! 😂😅😭)

Emily is an incredible sex educator (Come As You Are author!) and I’ve been inspired and influenced by her work over the years 💖 I also interviewed her on my podcast @doingitpodcast via the interwebs in 2021 so it was lovely to be able to meet in person!

Have you read Come As You Are or Burnout? What was something you learned from them?
