If you’re successful at this stage you’ll be invited to complete a short task (2-3 hours) and then an in-person (Covid dependent) interview. I’m aiming to offer someone the position before mid-December and then depending on availability, welcoming you to the team immediately or in January.
Hy Hannah! My name is Cecilia and I’m from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I saw your job offer and it seems so interesting. I’ve knowledge and experience in podcasting, WordPress development, in Journalism, I also have three diplomas regarding to Sex Ed and an specialiation in Sex Ed in people with dissabilities. I’ve worked in radio and, right now, I work as a part time Digital Marketing Specialist, I’ve also been managing tasks related to the Community Management and social networks area. Two years ago, I used to wrote for two digital magazines: one related with the feminist and LGBTIQ+ agenda and another related with sport, gender and dissability. Whatsmore, then I started a podcast of ephemeris Argentinean women and designed, managed and work producing and editing a special podcast of women of reggae.
I’ve studied History and study for many years English as my second language. I consider I could help and be such a good job partner. I regret living in another country and the distance, but if it’s of your interest don’t hesitate to contact me or write me an e-mail. I’m looking forward to be involved in a project of this characteristics and the pandemy showed us that, despite the miles between our offices/studios and homes, the miles away were not an impediment to work. Unfortunately, because of the economycal crisis and the lack of interest in the mainstreem media there are not enough work for people as me. Many other do it as freelance content markers and there’re really good ones, but just exactly as your channels and contents really no.
Beyond all the previous information, I wanted to tell you that in Argentina all teachers can become Sex Ed Specialists after a 2 years postgraduate specialization. In this latitudes, sex ed is given from kindergarden to the last year of secondary school in different subjects. It’s a very interesting law that provides lot of information related to an “integral” knowledge about sexuality and not just about sex; well, your first book is like the Argentinean Integral Sexuality Law in spite of the lack of very important issues associate with trans, transvestite and transgender population
I’m related to all this world cause I’m a LGBTBIQ+ activist (inrolled in the bisexual world and sphere), I know, live and take part in the battles and struggles of the colective of diversity in Argentina and all over the world. Regarding to this commitment, I worked and write for an online blog about the transfeminism and the trans situation in my country regarding to new laws. Right now we’ve a law that has make legal the abortion interruption (regardless of the motions described in the Constitution) but many provinces, politicians and judges still deny the women right to acces for a free and secure abortion. Beside this, we’ve an integral sexuality law since 2006 that’s exemplary in many ways and reasons. It provides a bounch of different legal tools for the LGTBIQ + community: gender reassignment surgery (GRS) for trans people, hormonal treatments paid by the State, marrriage for couples with the same sex, a special law that forms public workers in the gender agenda (called Micaela’s Law; in memory of a young woman that was victim of femicid-) and a new type of crime categories called “femicides” (before named as “passion crimes”), etc. There are so many things to talk about, to debate and inform. Obviously having Pope Francis at the Vatican do not make things easy in Argentina. But we’re still working and making progress in the LGTBIQ + and also in the women’s agenda.
Hope you’re doing well with your pregnancy, I’ll keep on enjoying and learning about your marvellous contents.
If, in some way, you become interested in working with an international partner, specialized in education, sex ed, LGTBIQ+ issues, History, digital marketing, social networking management with comprobable experience in digital journalism and podcasting, let me know; it’d be a pleasure for me.
Regards and deep thanks,
Cecilia Carunchio
Hey! I am interested, but unsure if this job is applicable to me if I live in Norway? Is it a work-from-home type of thing or more of a hands on job?
Regards,
Victoria
